New Project Manager appointed for HSHAZ

Pete Fellows

We’re delighted to announce that Pete Fellows has been appointed as the new Project Manager for the Gosport High Street Heritage Action Zone programme (HSHAZ).

Pete has been involved in managing and enhancing the built and natural environment for over 25 years. He started as a volunteer with the Town and Country Planning Association and went on to a three-year stint at cultural consultants, AEA Consulting where he worked on the first wave of National Lottery funded arts and heritage projects. This was followed by a decade working for the Heritage Lottery Fund in London and Manchester, before the lure of the coast brought him back to the south of England and the Isle of Wight, where has been managing large-scale conservation projects.

Pete says “with its incredible built, cultural and natural heritage Gosport is a fantastic place to come and work. In my role as High Street Heritage Action Zone Project Manager I’m very much looking forward to working with the community to conserve and celebrate the heritage of the town centre and ensure it continues to play an important role in the lives of local people.”
