Regeneration Success – Levelling Up Funding
Gosport Borough Council has been awarded £18m in government funding to support regeneration of the Rum Store at Royal Clarence Yard, and development of a route between the town centre and the historic waterfront. This is great news for the borough, as the project will support improved quality of life for Gosport residents and provide economic benefits. Walks to and from the Town Centre to heritage destinations are part of what HAZ has achieved over the past 4 years and the restoration of the Rum Store will be a great asset to Victoria Quay and Royal Clarence Marina as a whole.
